Error code when trying to extend Java Edition Realms subscription

I'm having trouble setting up a recurring billing payment on the Mojang website for my Minecraft Java Edition Realm. The 30-day free trial is about to end so I selected the extend subscription option through the Realm's configuration settings. After entering my card details and trying to pay, it comes up with an error window "Oops! Something went wrong when creating your order. Request ID: 245a2e7775a30c0c". I've tried restarting my PC, updating my browser, and troubleshooting realms but no luck. There's no other payment options I can try other than card details. Not sure what to do at this point, any info would be appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't have another card or access to a different card to use. It's just confusing because there's no reason why it shouldn't work. I assumed it would be a connection error but restarting usually resolves that issue.

Thanks for your reply. I thought this would work too, but unfortunately there's no other payment options other than card on the Mojang website. I know that the Microsoft edition offers PayPal as well as card, but I'm using Java edition so this option isn't available to me.
