Error code when signing in help!

so i just went through a bunch of hoops to finally log back into my xbox live account so i can hop on in windows 10

but there's an issue every time I try to use the email account for my xbox account i get an error code "0x80070520"

I've tried looking up what it is in support with no luck

I have tried resetting the app, uninstalling and restarting my comp with no luck

to add to it i can log into my xbox account on the website itself, the app is the issue

Just for kicks I created a new account and strangely enough I can log into other accounts

I just want my original account... help please

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Sounds like the email isn't verified why it keeps asking you to do this. You can go to the
Account website log in and make sure everything is verified on the website. Also do you have two step verification enabled, or passkey set up and lock it down as security setting?

Most of the time this Windows 10 error is triggered by Windows Update components that for whatever reason get corrupted. That can affect a number of update-related processes, such as downloading Windows apps and using the Windows Store.As you’ve

first thing you should try is run the Troubleshooter because that can fix the error automatically. Second keep in mind that sometimes the cached files in Windows Store result in the error code 0x80070520 and clearing the cache can fix the problem.

When I try to sign in to MS Solitaire Collection, I get a sign in error "We could not sign you in to Xbox Live. Please check the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ.... error code: 1170000."

Unfortunately I can't find this error code, or the answer at that link. I'm running Win 10. Help please!

Hey there, are you recieveing any kind of error code at all? The error code helps a lot in determing exactly what issue is happening and there can be a number of things going on when you can't sign in.

What’s the specific error code/message you receive when trying to sign in? 80151103 and 8015190A are some of the most common error codes for account access issues on Xbox 360 (and Xbox One and Series X|S consoles through backwards compatible games).

Also, are you able to successfully sign in to your account at https://account.microsoft.com/ and https://www.xbox.com/?
