Error code on video play status code 803c0006

I can't watch a movie I have paid for a while back I got online and went through a xbox 360 support live chat and they walked me thru a few different things with my consele from shutting it down and dissconecting everything and rebooting ( didnt change a
thing video still wouldnt play ) from going into my setting and deleting stuff again still nodda i still keep getting this Media Usage Rights Playback Error , telling me > Sorry, can't play due to a problem with usage rights. for more info , go to
www.xbox.com/support. Status code : 803c0006 , i did all that the support person gave me a link to see if the video would play online and it did with no errors on my laptp so what is wrong my console
is only a few months old , oh the other movie i have ( i only own two movies on xbox video ) comes up with the same error , the two movies I own are > the 1959 Ben Hur and the 2009 movie Avatar thank god I dont own more I spent enough on these two and can't
even watch them , imagine how *** I would be if I had a whole bunch of movies and couldnt watch them , anyway I need some help , any would be nice specally if it fixs this problem , my email is > [mod removed]

The 03-57-00 Error

Hey Voided Brain, go here - > https://myservice.xbox.com/en-US/Pages/Welcome.aspx and use the troubleshoot another issue link. Then go to Find error code or status code link. If that doesn work then you may have to get your console repaired. Hopefully someone else has a better solution.

Quick question, well two really. What was the error code? Did you ask google what the error code meant?

Also, if the xbox is having status issues that can cause stupid error codes to drop. Usually though once you google the code you'll know what the issue is, and if the issue isn't related to the internet, i'd still hit up status page for xbox just to make sure.

Which i'll do before i hit post. Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage seems everything is normal right now, so hit us up with the error code, i'd try again though.

 

It is a known issue right. There is no resolution yet. They are working on the issue at the moment.

 

has there been any results on how to fix this? this has been happening to me for almost 2 weeks now and i bought ALOT of episodes and I really want to see them ASAP.

 

The error code I was getting is now this one and then I'm signed out of xbl I hope someone finds a fix soon kinda a rip off

 

Hope the next update fixes this because this is getting old really fast and I have over 300 episodes bought and downloaded onto my Xbox360 hard drive. I want to see my episodes SOON!!!

Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this error code and playback error. What all have you tried so far? We have a few suggestions here if you're willing to give it a go:

• Make sure you're signed into the profile that purchased the content, and ensure a stable connection to Xbox Live.
  
• Make sure the content is in your account's purchase history at commerce.microsoft.com. If it isn't, then check the history of any other account you may have access to.
  
• Delete & Redownload: Find the content you're trying to watch in Settings > System > Storage, delete it,
  clear the console's cache, then restart and download the content again from your Download History.
  
• Try a different storage device. If you have a USB flash drive handy, move your video content onto that from the Hard Drive and see if it will play
  from there.
• Check your digital licenses. Have you recently moved to a new Xbox 360 console? Even if your content is stored on the same hard drive as before, your licenses don't carry over with it.
  Perform a License Transfer and then re-download the content you are trying to watch.
  

Let us know the results and anything else you've tried!

video.xbox.com?

One more thing I'll ask you to try is this:

• Delete your profile from your console:
  • Navigate to Settings > System > Storage > All Devices > Profiles.
  • Select your profile, and then select "Delete."
  • When the confirm window pops up, select "Delete Profile Only." This will remove your profile but keep all your saved games.
    
• Clear the cache again and restart the console.
• Download your profile fresh from Xbox Live:
  • When your console restarts, you'll be greeted with the "choose your profile" screen and a bunch of snoozing avatars.
    
  • Scroll all the way to the right and select "Download Profile."
  • Enter your info to download and sign in, and then try the content one more time.
    

 

Still the same problem please give an update soon so i can watch my TV shows soon. it has been almost over 2 months now.

 

I just started getting this problem and it happens on all of my MS devices so it has nothing to do with anything downloaded to my devices. Surface Pro, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows 8.1 Desktop PC: I can't play videos I bought yesterday May 27. I see the
transaction in my Microsoft Account transaction history and settled in my bank account so the money has been transferred to MS.

Please realize that we can obtain this content elsewhere so if your service doesn't work we'll just stop giving you money and it is very frustrating to see the same content available in other sites and to be hamstrung by whatever bug you're dealing with
keeping us from enjoying what we paid for on your echo system.

I just tried to watch one of my purchased shows, Doctor Who Seasaon 601 - A Good Man Goes To War, and I got this error. I tried video.xbox.com and also received an error.
