Error code message when trying to update

Gamer tags: funn2playwith and . Console serial [Mod Removed] After an approximate 2 year or more hiatus from xbox live, I am now finally able to connect my xbox to the internet. After trying
to get the new update, I kept getting "351F-40A3-1380-0702-C000-0099", after several attempts I finally researched it and says that my console is banned. I tried posting in Banned accounts and consoles", but was only replied to once, asking for
the console serial number, which I provided over a week ago. I also checked on "check your console" and this came up ("No enforcement action found. This could mean: the console has not been banned, tampered, stolen or is defective; the serial number
you entered is invalid. Consider checking your entry; the model number and serial number you entered do not match. Consider checking your entry."), so now I'm really confused. After my original xbox had gotten the "ring of death", my nephew gave me
his xbox, because it did not read the games, so I took my laser from my broken xbox and installed it on the one my nephew gave me. everything worked great, even played online with no issues. I didn't have the money to continue with xbox live, so I didn't play
online anymore. Then we moved to a house where we only had wi-fi, but because I was in college, I didn't have time to worry about connecting it, but now that I want to get back into it, I can't. I even bought the Ca;; of Duty Blackops II game, and I can't
play that either. Is it because it has been off-line for over two years? Other than replacing the cd drive, the only other item i replaced was the external memory that I used from my old xbox. A real answer would be appreciated, and not a generalized, automated,
you fit into this category, answer. Thank you in advance.

p.s. I've reset my network settings, tried using a flash drive and a CD to manually upload the update, with no success.

Cannot redeem codes

Anyone else havin a problem. Its accepting the code and displaying what its for but when i click to download i'm gettin an error message everytime with no specific error codes. ***!

Hi,

You shouldn't replace the original disc drive in your nephew's console with yours as it is linked to your console, so try to replace it again with the original one and test to get the update.

 

It had updated and played new games with this same configuration, so I don't see how this is an issue, had this happen when I first swapped the disc reader I would see the connection. But It had updated and played new games before.
