    Brand new, right out of the box XBox One console. E305 error code. What the Heck ??? So, I'm supposed to get a flash drive reformat it download something to make this thing work??? Don't think so... This Sucks. Gonna send it back and get a PS4

    E305 troubleshooter and run through all the steps. Let us know how it goes error code e305 :)

    E305 results if there is an issue during an update, potentially caused by connection interruption or loss of power. The offline system update diagnostic tool can be used to roll back the update so that the update downloads again. If you decide to give it

    Okay, spoke to XBox support this morning we were told that the console was defective, Went and bought a flash drive which had to be reformatted to download a fix from Microsoft as advised by support. Followed the instructions.. And, not surprising, it didn't
    work. Now I'm ***. Microsoft knowingly shipped a defective device. Ok, starting over reformat flash drive again, download the fix from xbox support again and attempt to upload the update. The update uploaded, got the preparing console message then a blue
    screen then the applying update screen. Looked like we were in business then after a few minutes the error message E305 popped up again.... Ok, so I guess I gotta waste more time packing this thing up, drive to the fedex and ship it back. What a drag....
    You guys SUCK !!!
