    Error code E204, stuck on screen


    My xbox tried to update to the newest version of the new dashboard and mid update this screen appeared saying to contact xbox support with the error code E204, after trying a soft and hard reset, I contacted support who referred me here

    I don't have access to the preview forum and my console is no longer working after the update

    I downloaded the update and after restart it ruined my console. Every time I turn it on the screen says "system error" and the error code E204 100C0B08 800701E7

    PLEASE HELP ME

    Is the Console stuck at the green loading screen or are you just seeing a black screen? Or is it a Error Code your getting?

    Okay, can you tell me at what point it failed? Also, can you provide a little more detail on the state of your console as it is right now? You said it's 'stuck' on that error code screen, correct? Does it get past the loading screen to the dashboard at all?
    If a manual install is not changing the status, and if it is in fact stuck on that error code, it may be time to send the console in for official repair.
