    Error Code C000-0185 when trying to update Xbox Live


    For the last month, I've been unsuccessfully trying to download the newest update from Xbox Live. When I click "yes" to install the update, I get the error code C000-0185. I'm also not able to log into Xbox Live, but I know my account is active because
    I can log in through xbox.com and see all of my information. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps with no success. I tested my network connection and the Internet connection is good, but I get an Xbox Live connection error when testing the Xbox Live
    connection. We are able to play regular games but not games requiring Kinect. I have the Xbox 360 E 4 GB setup with an additional 500 GB Xbox hard drive. I'm at the point where I would just like to wipe the entire system and start over, which I did with
    the 500 GB hard drive, but the internal 4 GB hard drive will not allow me to clear the cache, format the disk, or anything. I'm also unable to run the initial setup on the Xbox. Any suggestions or ideas on where to go from here?
