Error code: Boar

So today I waited 4 hours for the latest "patch" to download for Destiny and woo hoo I got the new Destiny : The Taken King title to show up with the new music but when it came time to play, it said that the file was corrupt. So I escape out of there
and re-download... wait another 2 hours... and then the same thing happens but this time I can't re-download at all. I do a play then it takes me to the install screen which says 1.99 GB message and then I get the boar error code from Destiny. So now I can't
play the game. I checked their website and nothing even addresses the error except to say that it happens when you sometimes get disconnected from XBOX Live. But now I am stuck and not able to play the game. Surely this deserves a refund right? I mean
if I had a disc, this type of thing couldn't happen and I expect it will begin to happen more often and to more people probably.

destiny freezes on install

I have the same problem. Very frustrating. Got a new hard drive just to make sure that it's good. It is giving me an error code: boar

Yes I'm having the same problem.

 

Have you tried re-installing via the game hum? Or deleting original save, as that might be corrupt, and reinstalling?
