The code is 8b050008-00000000-00000000

I am getting this same problem :

8b050008-00000000-00000000 - It shows this error code but this is not in the support database.

+ According to the system network tests, everything works. I am able to connect to my router, the internet, and xbox live.

+ I am able to sign in, however the xbox still thinks i am offline.

+ Doing a "Test Connection to Xbox Live" does not prompt me for a software update

+ After signing in, I am unable to use any apps, they all display the error "8b050008-00000000-00000000" Please try again later.

I have not seen any resolution to this, or any other threads with that error code. The xbox support site, finds nothing when I enter in this code.

Please advise.

Generally that error is tied to an update issue, but if you're able to connect to Xbox Live I don't believe that's the issue. To start out, have you tried re-downloading your profile to see if there's any change?

To download your profile, press the guide button and select 'Download Profile'. From there, just re-enter your Xbox Live messages and give it another download. Let us know what's going on
