Error code 83118834 when signing into Xbox Live

Discus and support Error code 83118834 when signing into Xbox Live in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When attempting to sign into Xbox Live, I appear to sign in successfully, however am then immediately prompted to re-enter my username and password....     Error code 83118834 when signing into Xbox Live


    When attempting to sign into Xbox Live, I appear to sign in successfully, however am then immediately prompted to re-enter my username and password.

    After doing this, I see 'signed into Xbox Live', and am then prompted whether I want the system to remember my password. I select 'Next', and am told an error has occurred, with code 83118834. At that point I am signed out of Xbox Live.

    I've tried deleting and re-downloading the account, clearing the cache, re-formatting the hard drive, and resetting the password, but am still getting the same error.

    The account details are valid (I'm signed into this forum with them!)

    Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be welcome!

    Can anyone help, I'm trying to log into my account on my Xbox360 and I'm getting an error code: 83118834

    I have tried to restart the system, unplug and power down, re-download the profile (this logged in to re-download, but then I still get the above error code).

    Very frustrating as Xbox Live is showing no faults.

    So I also have the 83118834 error code on Xbox 360 and have deleted my profile, cleared the cache, downloaded my profile and the same error keeps appearing...any ideas?

    Error Code: 83118834

    Same problem here - Profile reinstalled, Cache cleaned, Network-Test (all fine), Networkplug changed, all Ports in the Router opened...still same error code and no chance to access Xbox Live. Seems like Microsoft stopped the 360-support, as there is no solution
    to be found anywhere...
