Error code 801540A9 when trying to sign in to Microsoft account on Xbox 360

I'm sorry to hear this is happening. We'll be glad to assist you further with this, I do have a question I would like to clarify. Since you're attempting to play this game on the Xbox One and it's asking you to sign in to your 360 profile, do you attempt
to download a complete different profile from the one you're signed in to the Xbox one? Reason I ask this is a common thing that happens when It prompts to have you download the profile on what appears to be the '360 dashboard' on the Xbox one you just need
to re-download the profile you have/ are signed in on the Xbox One.

Now, if you're trying to sign in and it is the same account for Xbox one and the 360 and it's prompting you this error code then this troubleshooting article may help further

Did you try turning on/off recurring billing on your account? It’s not whether you have an active subscription that affects this error, it’s the ‘reset’ itself that can help. So if you have Game Pass now, it would be a good idea to try this.

Also, are you currently on a child account (under 18, or under 19 in South Korea) or in a Microsoft Family? This relates to the 801540A9 error code and is a possible factor, so you may need a parent/guardian to take a closer look into this for you as the adult in the same Microsoft Family. Refer to:

Error Code
801540A9 typically occurs when you start a game on Xbox One and may mean that a child account is having trouble loading family member profiles... If this is a child account, you may need to re-associate it with a parental account. To do so:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account and select the
   Family tab.
2. Select Add a child.
3. Enter the email address of the child account that you want to re-associate with the parent account. This will send an invitation to the child account’s email address.
   
4. Sign out of your Microsoft account and sign in to the child account.
   
   Note For security reasons, you may be asked to verify the account.
5. Select the button labeled Sign in and accept.
   
   Note Email can be found by selecting View inbox.
