Error code 80151909 is preceded by the following message:

Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded at the moment. Please try again later.

Problem

If you get this message and error code, it means a profile download attempt failed, but the problem might be temporary.

Solutions

Solution 1: Restart your Xbox 360 console and download your profile again

First, restart your console. Then, try to download your profile again. Here’s how:

Download your Xbox Live profile

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.

2. Select Download Profile.

Note If you don’t see Download Profile, it probably means you’re signed in to your profile. Press X to sign out.

3. Enter the Microsoft account (formerly Windows Live ID) that’s associated with your Xbox Live gamertag. If you don’t know your Microsoft account or password, see Questions about a Microsoft account or a gamertag.

Note If your account is an Xbox Live child account, you have to use the parent’s Microsoft account to download the profile.

4. Select the storage device for your profile (for example, Hard Drive).

Your profile will begin downloading. When the download is complete, you can choose whether to require a Microsoft account password to sign in to your profile.

Remember Password option

The Remember Password option is turned off by default, which means you’ll be prompted for your Microsoft password whenever you sign in to your Xbox Live profile. Leave Remember Password unchecked if you want to be prompted for your password when you sign
in to your profile on this console.

You should now be able to sign in to the console using your Xbox Live gamertag.

Solution 2: Contact Xbox Support.

Guys, i have the same problem. I tried the solution with downloading my profile, but even if i am connected to a wi-fi when i try to download the profile it says '' can't connect to xbox live '' when im testing the connection it puts a red X between the
wi-fi spot and the internet. Even when i try with another wi-fi the same problem appears. Im getting very angry because i have only few days of Xbox Live Gold left and i cant connect to xbox live from 1 week because of that error. I've also tried with reseting
the factory settings, deleting my cache, then restarting xbox, nothing works. Please, help me!

I've been having the same problem for about a month now there is something wrong with Xbox live. Some days it will sign in no problem and then some days it will keep giving the same error message. I'm starting to get frustrated seeing that my membership
just renewed and I can't get on Live when I want. One thing I do and it works sometime is turn off your Xbox and unplug the power source for about 5 minutes plug back in and try again. Or you can do a full power restart of the router and your Xbox which mean
unplug everything for about five minutes plug back in and try again.

I've never had this problem until Xbox one came out and I have read another post were someone had the same problem with there 360 but the Xbox one signed in no problems. I really hope Microsoft fix the problem sooner than later.

 

Well, i cant do this with the unpluging and restarting the router, because the router i am connecting is from the bank next to my apartment, but i connected to another network (not mine) and it is the same problem when i try connect xbox live- error 80151909,
so i think it is not from the routers,i think it is from the console setting, because before 7 or 8 january i was able to connect to xbox live with connected to the same network from the bank, but then it started disconnecting me very often that day and i
decided to try with my cable internet but i was getting error 8015191 and i changed some settings of my console but the error 8016191 was still there and after i restarted my console i couldnt connect even to wi fi network now because i was getting error 90151909
and im still getting it when i try connecting to xbox live, so i think the problem comes from the setting but dont know exactly where in the settings.

 

Try and restore your network setting to "factory default" and maybe that will work for the day but I'm telling you that there is a problem with Xbox live for all 360 users. I have done that more than five time in the last month and it is hit or miss.

 

I tried this at least 10 times, man, it doesn't work. Im starting to get frustrated, i paid money for Xbox Live Gold and now i can't use it.

I updated my xbox 360 and now i can sign in from time to time
