error code 80150017

hey I'm having issues trying to download the army of two devils cartel game off the marketplace. every time I try to confirm the purchase, it pops up saying "Sorry, something went wrong. This isn't available for your region, or the file Is corrupted, or
we don't recognize the format." my region is Canada/USA.

Does your account region match your physical location? You can't be set up for Canada and the US at the same time. If you're set up for Canada, you have to be in Canada in order for the download to work.

 

my region is set to usa but I am in Canada. I have had it setup like this in the past and never had an issue with any of the games with gold games up until this army of two game.

Changing to an region you arent physically in wont help

You need to match your account region and actual region to download it

If you have the us account but in canada that wont work

If you are runing a us vpn that wont work either

 

Most triple a games in the games for gold program were region locked halo 3 gears of war judgement was too

Tombraider etc

@dohwah rhe only way to get an region eeror is to have an mismatched regionChanging to aanother region wont help unless you are physically there and you can only change every 4months.

Unless you dont live an xbox live region

Fyi us foreign bases dont count as the us as they have foreign geoips you have to use your local region

 

GoW Judgment wasn't region locked, well, at least for me.

But, to download Army of Two, You have to be where Your Live account is set to. I had the same problem. Guess some games check Your IP:

 

nice that people are trying to help! But allready tryed above standing metods and ofc as a person that needs to travle much in work i bring my xbox with me to slack som time. Anyhow its suppose to work getting the game trought your computer and then download
it to pass around some region issues with the xbox. My question was simply to the support when it will be able on the webstore so that we other people not fortunate to be in the county of origin also can play.

No. Vpns wont work and are not meant to work nor can anyone tell you how to make it work

Vpns are a violation of the terms of use.

If you travel then your worknhandbook should explain to you what happens

When you travel to different countries thrre is no garentee that you have your original countrys content

Because you have to follow international laws everywhere you go

 

There wont be support thats thebpoint

You can only queue content from the webstore and download when you are home

Region migration is only meant for perm moves not temporary

Also content has to follow international laws and distibution rights

Since gears and assasins creed and most triple a titled have contrnt thwt doesnt follow every law thats why they are locked and localized
