Error Code 800705B4

Okay, so, two questions:

First and foremost, I had this problem like 18 months ago. Why in the name of all that is holy has this ridiculous problem not been patched or something yet?

Secondly, the last time I had this problem, I fixed it via deleting my profile, then clearing my cache twice, then restarting Xbox and redownloading my profile.

So, specifics of the problem - I cannot access any functions of my Xbox whatsoever from my profile. When I attempt to log into said profile, it immediately requests that I sign in with my Username and Password. I do the normal overly-secure security measures,
as per norm, and when it asks if I want to remember my password (it remembers that I want it remembered, but won't let me bypass this...) it goes into a ridiculously long loading circle, which then slaps me with the error. I cannot even back up my game saves
or anything, because I can't access my profile to get the permissions to actually move my own saves. I have been effectively locked out of my own profile.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that this is an issue that should be a high priority. I pay for this service, cannot even use it, and if I have to delete 244GB worth of games and data, I will be disposing of this service and system. This is outright ridiculous
that I'm being impeded by security measures to the point of being effectively banned.

This si not being caused by your security issues. Xbox Live had some downtime today due to an unforeseen issue and the issue is working on getting resolved by the Xbox Live Staff.

We just ask thatyou bear with us for the time being as the issue gets ironed out.

 

I'm having the same problem. I tried deleting my profile and redownloading (never had a problem doing it before) now I can't even get my profile back. It's, well, quite frustrating.

 

Same problem here as well but the status page shows everything is working. Going to DVD it for tonight and hope it's working by morning.

 

I am having the exact same issue too.. too bad I've been trying to login for over an hour before I stumbled upon this forum!

 

I got kicked off live while on YouTube app.. even when I try to log into crackle.. tried logging my profile in numerous times even changed my password info.. I hope you get live up and running soon.. There some movies I want to watch.

 

Xbox Live Status showed nothing down but I'm still getting the same error.

Asks for password login

Asks if I want to remember password

Says I've successfully "Signed in to XBox Live"

...then immediately goes to error screen: 800705B4

 

This is absolutely ridiculous. We pay anywhere between 60 and 120 dollars per year for this service, and I can't even come home from work and relax with some Hulu. Or party chat with friends. How does a multibillion dollar corporation have a day of downtime?
I cannot comprehend how better to screw your users than blocking access to net. I bet XB1 users are reeeeeaaaallly livid.

 

Oh, and now I think my Xbox has gone ***, according to the Error Code Lookup tool. I got 807B01F7 this time, which relates to purchasing things from marketplace. Still the same problem as before, just with a new Error code. Lovely.

 

Why is it not shown as down on the website. At least use the website as it was intended. I would not have to troll these threads to see what is down if you just did your jobs.

 

They're paid too much to do actual work. Which is why we have Ambassadors, instead of real tech support. No offense, fellow Ambassadors. It's just the truth.

 

My xbox was working fine this morning, until about 7pm(pacific time) I got the same error.

 

Fair warning to all... Do not try to close the menu during the load screen after it connects you to live. Totally soft-froze my system. Fantastic day.
