    Error Code 8007045D Wiping my HDD?


    I was recently playing Sniper Elite V2, The game then froze. so i waited a minute and restarted my 360. Upon turning it back on it took around 5 minutes to start up (which is odd) and when i went to the dashboard, i was signed out of all profiles, and it
    read (Sign in (0)) i normally have 4 profiles to choose from, my normal one, my brothers my sisters and my friends. So i contacted xbox support on twitter, and they suggested i clear the system cache, disconnect my hdd as well as the console for 10 minutes
    and then restart it, nothing seemed to have worked.

    I did some research and most people are saying to reformat my hdd, which would delete everything, i have yet to try it but if there is another solution i will try my hardest to do it.

    Edit to the thread:

    I have tried downloading my profile on a usb, which worked. However because the hdd is corrupted yet not showing any data, you are unable to add anything to it such as a system update.

    soo Formatting your harddrive and losing everything is the only fix that has worked for me.

    Hope this helps for anyone in the future.

    It sounds like you may have some corrupt data on your HDD.Try this first
    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-8007045d     and make sure you delete the profile only you don't want to delete everything.Ounce you have it deleted from your HDD go ahead and try to download it again.
