    I'm on Xbox one attempting to play Halo Reach , I try to download my profile and it keeps giving the same error code to me , could not having gold be the issue ?

    help new 360 update failed w/error code

    Help, not finding anything in search. tried MS support suggestions with no help. Just bought a new xbox and have had numerous consoles so not new to xbox. selected the update after logging into profile and the console froze. I only have access to a MAC but I am sure the file downloaded from the MS site is on the USB drive now getting the same bs error code.

    wtf is going on!!!!!!!!!!

    It told me to try downloading my profile again...error while downloading it, now i have no profile until it is fixed.

    Hey there!

    Xbox Live Gold is not required to play Halo Reach, however it is required to play online multiplayer. To troubleshoot this error, try these steps out:

    • On the Xbox One dashboard, scroll to the left to open the Xbox One guide.
    • Within the Xbox One guide, scroll down and select 'All settings'.
    • From here, scroll down to 'System' settings and select 'Storage'.
    • Within the Storage settings, select 'Clear local Xbox 360 storage'. You Xbox One console will restart after this.

    After restarting, launch Halo: Reach again and tap the Menu + View at the same time to open the Xbox 360 guide and sign back in!

    it's now giving me error code 80BC0001 , telling me to sign in at the home screen then come back , will see if it works UPDATE didn't work , ended up giving me the same error code as it did the first time and saying profiles couldn't be downloaded sigh
