Why do I keep getting error code listed above when trying to sign in to Microsoft Solitaire Collection on Windows 8.1?

I have tried all of the above mentioned solutions, with no success. I have a case # for the same problem I experienced before, but, I am sure the case number has expired, because time limits. The case# is,
[Mod Removed - Personal Information] .If that # can be found, maybe it can give some feedback, on steps taken to resolve the problem.

Hi Mac,

Thanks for responding to us. It would be best to report this at the Microsoft Solitaire Page. I know they responding and update their page. When looking at the Microsoft
Solitaire Collection page on the Microsoft Casual Games site I did see that others were having the same issue.

Attempt to sign in as a Guest. Does it give the same error code when signing in that way?

We also recommend Restarting your PC and not doing a shut down. You can view the

Yes. I am not even sure when it stopped working. I do seem to remember it was after an automatic update.

I suggest you to run the app troubleshooter if you haven't already:

Press
Windows
Key+X.
Click
Control Panel.
Select
Troubleshooting.
On the left pane, click on
View All.
Click on
Windows Store app
to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

You can also try this method which is just running the
System
File Checker tool(SFC.exe). System
File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. It will scan your system files and to repair missing or corrupted system files in Windows.

Also, please try to perform a
clean boot,
this helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. After trying these steps, restart the pc that's in use.
