ERROR CODE 2054 ON XBOX ONE X

I have done all of the troubleshooting options for issues like this (titles not streaming etc.) & there has been no fix as of yet.

Been watching the new Freevee app on my Xbox since the app was released with zero issues. Today I get home from work & suddenly the Freevee app isn't letting me play any titles whatsoever.

Dealt with amazon first since Freevee is their deal.

They told me the error code was a Microsoft issue, which I confirmed via a Google search. What is odd to me, is that this specific error code has to do with Microsoft office. As far as I am aware, my Xbox one x does not even have the capability of having office products run on it. I could be totally wrong about that, but I do know I do not currently have any downloaded.

Can anyone tell me what is actually going on or am I just going to get stuck with bs answers....

Like, is this a new ongoing issue they're potentially already working on? I am literally halfway through a show & then get hit with this dumb c r a p ...

C'mon I need to know what happens next in X-Files!!!!!

Try watching a random movie for 20 min. It fixed my app now i can watch my shows.

I’ve spoken with Amazon already & they talked me through all the same troubleshooting options I just went through like I stated above. Freevee is owned by Amazon & when you go to that link it sends you to the Amazon support page

Lol yeah, no thanks. I’m not going through all of that nonsense again. I just had to do all that a month ago, plus I game share with a buddy & he’s outta town so I wouldn’t be able to access most of what I’ve got inventoried at the moment . It’s not worth factory resetting, but thank you for taking the time to try to help.

Hey there!

First I did a hard reset & unplugged power cable for the 10-15 sec. Didn’t work. Then I uninstalled, hard reset (same as above) & reinstalled the app. Didn’t work. Checked internet connection & that’s not the issue. All of my Xbox live stuff is working properly. Checked my DNS settings & those are good. It’s just so odd it’s ONLY the Freevee app. I took a snapshot of the error screen. It pops this message up as soon as I click on a title, doesn’t even give me the option to hit play, just goes straight to the error page.

You are welcome, my friend. Sorry that this is the only troubleshooting method available after power resetting the console and remove/adding your account again.
