    Did you install the
    Game Pass App    ?

    If a game won't download from the app then a problem with the Windows Store is one of the potential reasons why you are getting this error: 0x00000005 when trying to download
    games from the Game Pass.

    Note that Game Pass app is an extension of the Windows Store, and as such the Windows Store needs to be in working order for games from the Game Pass app to download.

    Step 1: Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps. This may help remove problems with apps from Microsoft Store. To do this, you may click the link below:
