Error Code 0xbba

I use my Xbox App on my hp laptop regularly (daily) to login in check information, as well as to stream from my Xbox One upstairs. I have been doing this flawlessly on this laptop for approximately 5 months with no issues. Yesterday (3/16/17) morning I logged
in on it for a brief period, logged out and took my laptop to work. I did nothing abnormal, just used my laptop throughout the day as I typically do, and when I came home in the evening, I attempted to log in to the Xbox App again to stream games. It immediately
gave me an error code as mentioned in the post title (0xbba). I tried multiple attempts to login and log out, shut down the device, and then all the tricks I've found online (as far as attempting to change the Proxy settings, making sure the date/time timezone,
etc. are synced, making sure that my account is listed as verified, etc.) but nothing has corrected this. What could possibly be happening? Did an update come through that I didn't notice that could be causing this change? Is there something else I can
try? This is extremely frustrating. I can log in to the app on other devices (tried at work today and on an older laptop, none of these devices could be used for streaming though, not mine, or too laggy), so I'm kind of stuck. Any possible thoughts? I
would love the help.

Issues with signing in to the Xbox app on Windows 10 may occur if there's an update available for the app and for your Windows 10 computer. We suggest that you follow the steps provided on this

link on how to check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store. Search if there are any updates available for the Xbox app.

If the same instance occurs, kindly uninstall and re-install the Xbox app. Here are the steps:

1. Launch Windows PowerShell as an administrator. To do this, click Start > All apps > Windows PowerShell > Windows PowerShell. Right-click on Windows PowerShell and click More > Run as Administrator.
2. In the Windows PowerShell window, copy and paste the following command: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
3. Restart your Windows 10 device.
4. Click this
   link and download the Xbox app.
