Error Code 0x903f9006 on XBOX ONE

Hi -

My son received this code last night on his Xbox One. We tried a few restarts, soft and hard, but that didn't resolve the issue. This affects only digital downloaded games that are on the hard drive of the One. Disc based games will work which is odd.
Some answers in the forum talked about the restarts and resetting of the system which we tried which is why I'm asking again here. The online Xbox code and status database did have this error code in its system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This was a known issue yesterday. I was receiving the same error. None of my downloaded games worked. I kept restarting and eventually got in. Xbox live is down again this morning so if its still happening thats probably why.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. In regard to not being able to play games, it was due to a service outage yesterday and for the most part, the service alert has ended for most issues with the exception
of the TV, Movie and Video function, which is still affecting many people. That being said, we are definitely working on the issues and getting them cleared up as quickly as we can and understand how frustrating it is when you're unable to play.

If you haven't already done so, we recommend that you
perform a physical power cycle of your console and then try to launch your games again. If you're having issues with any TV, Movie or Video function, you can visit the

Xbox Live Service Status page and click the Notify Me button and enter your mobile number to receive a one-time text when this expires.
