Error code 0x8b050033 games won’t load and black screen appears

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to play your games.

The Xbox Live Service was actually having an outage the day that this was posted concerning first core services and then purchase and content usage.

The issues have since been cleared though, and you should have no issues after performing a

power cycle of your console.

If you continue having issues after power cycling though, I would then suggest you try a soft reset of the console.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games & apps.

The same thing happened to me.... all i can get is the turn off menu and the main menu every now and then however it will not let me do anything

Only fix right now is to do a hard power down (hold in the power button on the console until it powers off). Unplug the Ethernet cable in the back of your console. Turn it back on, and play games in offline mode.

Of course this doesn't help if you're like me and trying to play 'The Division' in which requires you to have an internet connection in order to play.

So i jusr finished installing BO2 and when i tried to load it it says it cannot update, try again later. Then all of a sudden my screen goes black and it is unresponsive. I tried to play GTA V and the same thing happened

Mine is doing the same it must be an issue with Microsoft, it seems loads of people are having the same problems

Mine just gets to the green page says hi and then goes blank
