Error code: 0x89231806 Blocking Party chat

im not even using what ever that effing app is called and i get that error on my console its is pissing me tf off someone come up with a solution. Pay way to much for little *** problems to occur

Hey, all. For folks hitting this issue on the Xbox App on Windows 10, please try the steps listed here:

Through our investigations we've found a few different issues that tend to pop up on Windows 10 devices with regarding Party Chat:

1. Teredo adapter not functioning normally.

2. Windows Firewall being shut down (sometimes by third party security software), blocking Teredo connectivity.

3. Third party security software blocking Teredo connectivity.

The steps in the link above walk through some workarounds for the most common scenarios we've encountered.

What the he'll I haven't been able to use party chat or get on destiny for over a week now I don't have a computer to change my network settings so how the hell did they change on there own this is bull crap

 

I am not on any app i am on my consol and i keep trying to join games or parties wkth my friends but i can't jojn them and they can't join me. The only code i get is 0x89231806. Saying i am blocking my party chat. Please help.

 

Im on my xbox one having this issue, but i didn't have it until i switched my internet provider, ive hard reset and unplugged the power chord for ten minutes and still same problem. DO I honestly have to call my internet provider to open ports or something?
I don't understand why that has to be done

Having the same issue on Windows 10, and it says that my Teredo Address is not obtained, and I have tried every step listed in the previous article listed, opened my ports, and did all I could, yet I still can't connect to others through Party Chat in either
the Beta or Normal Xbox app.

 

This same issue is happening with me I have contacted xbox support but I haven't been able to talk to anyone smart enough to fix this problem. Xbox party chat will randomly not work and it is so frustrating no one at xbox support knows how to fix it, and
there is no settings I have changed it is just the app itself having issues. I have multiple friends having this same issue and nothing has been fixed in over a month. Very dissapointed! I understand you have a response system within the app to explain our
issue, but nothing has been done no matter how many times I submit an issue so there is no point in submitting it within the app, because nothing has been done about it in over a month.

Yes my teredo is obtained.

Yes my ports are open to the ones they need too.

Done everything that xbox support can google up during a phone call

 

not for me it wont work still same error code
