    Error code: 0x89231806 Blocking Party chat


    Anyone know the fix for this? I could not find it anywhere. I don't think it is in my router since my other devices work, it is just my desktop and I don't know where I fix the settings.

    Same issue - just started doing it the last few days - I have the Early Access UI, but party chat was working just fine a couple days ago.

    Hey everyone! Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with Party Chat within the Xbox App.

    Because the app is still in beta please be sure to leave feedback within the app when you close out of Party Chat. A dialogue box should appear asking you to provide feedback where you can describe the issue you're having.

    Error code: 0x89231806 Blocking Party chat

    I have been trying to connect to a party chat session, I have tried both the Xbox app and the Xbox (beta) app both return error: Your network settings are blocking party chat. [0x89231806]

    Within the Xbox (beta) app NAT type is showing as "Not Available" although all required ports have been opened and tested.

    Xbox Live services are running as expected along with the services "PNRP" and "Peer Networking"

    I have re-installed Teredo and tested by joining a HomeGroup which my machine had no problems with. In addition to the above I'm not running any software which is known to cause issues, my anti virus is Avast and using Windows Firewall.

    Is there any current information or confirmation that theres a bug in relation to this issue? I feel as if I have tried everything and now feeling very frustrated to find that it could be a bug within the Xbox software.

    What the Phuq Microsoft...uGet paid money to do ur job, and considering the fact this problem has been going on since the release of the preview a month ago...Ur not doing ur job. Even with an open Nat type n all services available im getting this error
    code. smh What good is it to pay for something...if its always phuq'd?
