Error code: 0x87e5002b

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I am sorry to know about the games situation; However, I believe your console might need just a system refresh to perform the update successfully. I would like you to go through the following steps to
clear your Mac address and perform a quick power cycle:



Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.



If even after going through the previous troubleshooting steps the same situation is recurring, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 30 Seconds, re-plug them back again, then restart
your console is updating this time.

The next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you
to sign in to the account.

From what I found, the way to troubleshoot this error code is to do the following:

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and then restart the system. Have your friend reset his router too while doing this an added layer of security.

I'm sorry you have this problem. Follow the instructions below for a solution.

Press the Xbox  button to open the guide.
Go to Profile & system > Settings > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate Mac address.
Select Delete.
While the console reboots, reboot the router.

If the above steps do not solve the problem, try turning the console off and on again by unplugging all cables.
After 30 seconds, plug them back in, restart your console, and see if the update starts.
If you still can't start a game, perform a reset on your console. To do it:

Press the Xbox  button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information > Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games and apps. The operating system will be reset and any data that may be corrupted will be removed, without deleting applications or games.

this is happening to me also, but my error code is 0x80a4001b

But when I put the code in to the error code search it says there's no error code like that.

I forgot to add this link, the error codes are given for a reason, you may find it handy if you get error codes although not every error code gives a possible solution.
