Error Code 0x87e10bea

Forza Horizon 4 crashed on me last night while trying to load on PC (showed "unknown error). After a reboot, the game loaded and apparently deleted ALL of my save-game progress data, and stuck me at the beginning of the game. Loaded up the Xbox One, gave
error 0x87e10bea, and crashed out. Restarted game, and spent five minutes syncing up, and now it, too, is stuck at the beginning of the game. Forza support so far is non-existent, and from the comments online I guess
I should not be surprised. Forza Hub shows my gamertag with pretty much zero progress in the game, while the Xbox app (on PC) shows me at 49% completion, 84 completed achievements, a detailed list of progress towards all the other achievements, and many other
"accurate" details about my progress over the last 137 hours of invested time. Xbox console shows some of those achievements, but not in as much detail.

I've read online accounts of many other users who have also lost their Forza data, and all of them seem to point to pure incompetence in their "cloud" sync functions, there's no options for backup or recovery, any minor
hiccup with the internet connection and your data is gone forever. Too bad, bye Felicia, get over it, you're just a paying customer, not someone we actually care about....

I'm still waiting on anything 'official' from the Forza trouble ticket, the one their website brags up so highly. But also trying to do my own homework, with the assumption that they've already round-filed my problem.
So I follow the Xbox's prompt (I took a picture when the error popped up so I could reference it later) - "visit xbox.com/errorhelp and enter the following code: 0x87e10bea" and lo and behold, it doesn't exist.
Unless I search that code on google, and I get half a dozen results, ALL of which link to various microsoft and xbox sub-pages, some of them three YEARS old, ALL of them locked, and NONE of them showing any solution or explanation of what the error actually
represents.

You'd think in all that time, ~someone~ here would have figured out what that error code actually is, but the way it seems on here, is that it's a taboo subject, and

Just got the same error code randomly while I was in the middle of a mission in Destiny 2. Dropped me from the game and told me I had error code 0x87e10bea too.

Windows up to date - 1909/18363.592, modern hardware, current drivers (including Nvidia 4336.30). As far as active updates while trying to run the app, who knows - it doesn't matter what you have anything set to, Micro$oft will shove updates through whenever
T/F it wants, with no warnings, part of the reason I had to upgrade my PC so heavily :-/ And you'd THINK with an operating system that claims to be as "smart" as Windows 10, it'd recognize a sh*tty internet connection and double check for errors before just
saying 'well [Mod removed- inappropriate] it, send it anyway'.

I'd ran a "playground games" event in Horizon 4 about an hour earlier, with no problems. The X-box hardly ever gets used because it's such a spam-cesspool. The only reason I ran it was to see if it had the same problems as the PC. Which, obviously, it
did. Forza Horizon 3 works just fine, which tells me my network, hardware, and xbox live connection is just fine. At least, it is currently (no clue about when the error first happened - obviously something was wrong somewhere...) Many complaints I've seen
online, in regards to Forza dumping user-data into the toilet, involves sync crashes, where some minor internet dropout crashes the whole works, and between Forza and Microsoft, there's not a single piece of equipment in the multi-million dollar chain that's
capable of saying "Hey, maybe we should re-send that".

Have you checked for an update of the operating system of the PC?

Also did you start playing game on console while it was updating?

Check your queue to see if there are updates downloading before starting the game.

Power cycle your network hardware to restablish internet and XBOX Live
connection.

Just had the same thing happen to me while I was mid mission in Destiny 2, screen suddenly went black, then home, than Error code 0x87e10bea. WHICH APPARENTLY STILL DOESN'T EXIST!?!?

Anything new on this? I'm also having the issue with the new Mega Man X legacy collections. Goes from splash screen>dark screen> home.
