Error code 0x87e105dc..arrgggghhh COD Ghosts.

Hi I've been onto xbox support reset everything,reinstalled game twice reset console numerous times.Xbox support refers me to Activision i presume the developer after going through the whole process.Not having much joy registering with them.Has anyone else
had this problem its a digital copy of the game.

won't let me play games

it keeps on saying on error code that's 0x87e105dc

 

I've the same problem here. I've tried everything....but nothing works. I think is è firmware problem of our dashboard with that game. Someone help us!!

 

Hi to all guys! Same problem here. Purchased COD Ghosts Hardened Edition, downloaded and installed but everytime I try to start the game a first grey popup appears saying 'preparing the game..' and then another gray popup appears with the above-mentioned
error code. Tried everything I read on other forums, plug-unplug the power, restart, hard reset, profile reset, nothing seems to work. Please provide some kind of help, it's rather annoying to waste money...

 

Surely xbox must know what this code means???.

This thread needs to be answered by xbox imo i purchased the game from they're store.

Id really appreciate some help as above tried everything above several times.

Ive purchased infinite warfare and remastered cod4 recently digitally , hope it doesn't happen to these too.

1. What version of Call of Duty: Ghosts do you own?
2. Is it digital or on disc?
3. When were you last able to play the game?
4. Have you already tried
   uninstalling the game,
   power cycling your Xbox One console, and then reinstalling to see if that works?
   

Please update us with that information so we can have a clear picture of what's going on so we can investigate further.

I own a digital copy off ghosts gold edition and all DLC maps.

November last year probably but my son may have played it on his console as we share Gold and digital games.

Ive spoke to xbox support for 1 hour some one called irish o i think really helpful,we went through all the resets.Ive uninstalled numerous times,and reinstalled.

To make matters worse i accidentally clicked on the make this my home xbox and now my sons lost xbox live gold now which we normally share.

I was thinking maybe the make this my home xbox etc may have changed after reset, but now i think I've exceeded the limit.

Could the license share on the ghosts game be exceeded.???Which is what I'm starting to think now.?

 

I've had the exact same issue with this game when I bought the Hardened Edition digitally the other week when it was on the cheap.

I have tried the above suggestions but they didn't work and I have been in contact with Xbox Support via Twitter but I am waiting for further suggestions from them.

If I get a solution that works I'll update my progress in getting it fixed.

@Mister Beep One of my friends has this issue and is still not able to launch COD GHOSTS. He has tried hard reset, uninstalling and all that stuff.
