    Error code 0x87e0000f occurs when downloading Dirt 5 via Xbox Game Pass for PC


    This error is isolated to this specific game (Dirt 5) only and it happens every time when the download is at 82%. It seems that it cannot continue downloading past that point. In the meantime, I am to able to successfully download and install any other game from Xbox Game Pass. I have also tried everything under the below page without success:

    Could you please support me with this? I was to able to successfully download and install this game 3 years ago.

    In regards to error code
    0x87E0000F    , this might indicate that you are having intermitted connection issues when downloading the game.

    Does the game reach any percentage when downloading or do you just receive this error code, also does this occur with other games you try to download as well?

    I would try to suggest seeing if there is anyway to connect to an alternate network, just to test if we can identify if there is some connection issues with your console.

    I Have tried to do 3/4 things that you have suggested to me but non of them seemed to work. I still get the error even at 1% download.

    Here is what I was attempting.

    I was trying do download Forza Horizon 5 and Back 4 Blood. (Not at the same time).

    I am on windows 11.

    I was downloading through the Xbox pc app with my Game Pass Ultimate Subscription.

    I have watched several YouTube videos on how to resolve the 0x87e0000f error code and still nothing. I am quite upset that there is no explanation on how to fix the error code on Microsoft's website. The only one there is for Xbox consoles.

    Thank you again and I hope that I will be able to resolve this issue.
