    Error code 0x87E0000D on game install/launch (Dragon Age 2)


    I previously owned Dragon Age 2 after a games with gold promo and was able to play it. On trying to boot today I got the above mentioned error code. I uninstalled thinking the file might be corrupted. The game is no longer in my ready to install list (I
    checked them all), however when I search it in the store it has the "you own this game" comment and allows me to install. I tried installing the game and got this error again.

    The description with the error code reada this: "You can wait a bit or restart your device. That may help."

    I have done both and nothing has changed. It is alarming that the game is no longer in my ready to install list (even with not being installed). Thank you for any help, when searched the error code is not recorded in the data base.

    I am also having this issue with Dragon Age 2. All of the DLC installs just fine; but the game stops installation at 0%, giving the error code 0x87E0000D. I searched most of the day and have tried everything suggested, but i still continue to be unable

    I followed your above mentioned steps.

    It is now appearing in my ready to install tab, however the same error code still displays on attempting installation. Given the number of people having the same error I'd say its not on our consoles end.

    There are multiple people in this post from yesterday that are experiencing the same error on Dragon Age 2. I'm guessing
    it's something that's wrong with Xbox.

    I agree. Ive tried everything and still get an error to even download. I think it must have been an error with some update with the game.
