Error Code: 0x87DD0006

I am having issues logging on to my Xbox One today it won't let me sign on. This is not a new Xbox and I just played the other day. When I go to sign in, I get an error:

"There was a problem. We couldn't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes, or check your account by signing in to account.live.com. Sign in: 0x87DD0006"

I know I am entering the correct email and password as I can sign into xbox.com and accounts.live.com. I have turned it off then on again so no idea what the issue is. I am a gold member have been for sometime any help would be appreciated.

Having same issue, can log into my Xbox account everywhere except the actual Xbox...

Same here. So frustrating. Been 45minites now for me.

 

Just managed to log in, didn't do anything in particular, just persisted

 

There are a few things you can try here.

1.) Hard reset- hold the power button for ten seconds to turn your xbox off. wait about 30 sec. then turn it back on. (you can unplug it and replug it back in too if desired.)

Still doesn't work?

2,) Test your wifi/cable connection. If wifi is giving you issues, try resetting your router with the steps listed in step 1. if hardwired and xbox says " youre all good," try disconnecting the ethernet cable and logging into your gamer profile. If its a
success, then we know its not a console issue. (a.k.a - not a you problem, its now a them problem.)

Still issues, eh?

3.) Go to account.live.com and verify that all of your credentials are correct. (I am assuming that if your user name and password logged you in, the only thing left to check is your paypal or credit info linked to your gold account or the subscription timeframe
if you use a monthly XBG method; as well as any other possible info like name, verification info, etc.)

One last thing to try (from personal experience.)

Go into the settings option on your xbox one and remove the account from your system. Then click "Add New Account" and re-enter your info and see if that helps.
