Error Code 0x87DD0005 ??

I've seen lots of posts about this problem --some dated even 2 years ago; however, I see NO solutions yet. Please help.

I'm on Windows 10 and have used the Microsoft Solitaire Collections for many months without any problem. In the last week or so, I occasionally got a pop-up saying I needed to enter my Microsoft Account "password" -- and this was when I wasn't trying to
play my daily solitaire game.

On about 3/09 I began not being able to get to the Solitaire Collections, because of some error code "0x87DD0005". It did not recognize my Microsoft account. However, I can go to www.xbox.com and see my account profile just fine. Meanwhile, I can only play
the daily solitaire as a "guest". I paid for Premium, and I would also like "premium service" on this issue please.

Can't Access MS Ultimate Word Games

I'm having the same issue...I get error code 0x87DD0005, but when I attempt to look up the code I get the message:

Sorry! No Support articles were found for "0x87DD0005

Thanks for letting us know. Can you try the following steps for us, and let us know?

1. Search for "Apps & Features"

2. In Apps & Features, scroll until you see "Xbox"

3. Select "Xbox"

4. Select "Advanced options"

5. Select "Reset"

6. Reboot your computer

7. Launch the Xbox App and sign into your Microsoft account

Do you see any improvement when you try to launch Solitaire after that?

 

I just started having this error on Microsoft Ultimate Word Games and tried the above suggestion with no joy. Is there something else that can be tried.

 

1) I tried the above.

2) I tried the above with Xbox Live instead of just Xbox

3) I tried uninstall and reinstall Ultimate Word Games.

4) I tied 1), 2), 3) above all with the same reboot.

5) other Xbox games seem to work properly. When I log-in to my Xbox account the Recently Played list contain Ultimate Word Games. When I clicked it to play, the error message occurs.

6) when the error message appears I tried log-in with a Different Account. A welcome to me appears and says Let's Play. When clicked, the error message occurs.

any other suggestions?

 

I tried earlier this morning with no luck, but was able to log-in just now. If you did something on the account end, I thank you.
