Error code 0x87c40000 and friends list

Well, seems like I'm running into another problem on my Xbox one as it seems for many others. The friend list is messed up, but that I know is an Xbox live problem as I'm sure many of you are having probs with, but it seems now I'm getting that error
code 0x87c40000 on it when I view my profile or friends profile page. Weird thing is that once in awhile I can look at one or two profiles, even my profile page if I'm lucky, but then I get the same error again if I look at others again or my profile page
again. I tried the suggestions on the Xbox website that might help fix this, but no go. I even hard reset and unplugged the console when it was off and no luck, and yes I did a factory default on it as well. Is anyone else having this prob? I know it's been
a problem for some time now cuase I do see some people get this (I did a Google search on it) and I really don't wanna replace this console since I just got it in the end of December. I'm hoping its just an Xbox live problem on thier end, like time I got the
100% packet loss when I tested the multiplayer server and it turned out to be a glitch on their end. Anyway, I figured I'd post this recent one on this problem and hopefully I don't feel like I'm the only one having this prob right now.

I can't acces my friends list and I can't invite friends to a group ( errors : 0x87c40000 and 0x87c40001 ) since sunday in the evening , very frustrating !!

 

Trying to load friends list and receive error code

Every time i try and load my friends list or followers i keep receiving this message below

Try again soon. Not sure what as happened there . ( 0x87c40000 is anyone else receiving this error ???

 

i've got the same problem. Also can't see my friends list at all. And I paid $500 for mine

 

Just got this console, and it's pretty frustrating that there are posts about this all the way back in October, that the console has been out for this long, and there are still issues with things like the Friends list. Especially when the only reason I got
this thing is to play with the friends who have it. Paper weight might be headed to the trash can soon.

 

i didn't ever have problems until this past holiday season. now live is broken every week on this console. just wanted to play minecraft with some friends but I guess that's too much to ask for

 

I just want to enjoy the Evolve beta but me and a couple friends are now stuck staring at "We can't show your friends list right now."

 

Lol, I'm having the same problem. Yet on the 360 I have no problems and my ps4 seems to be more stable. I bought a 500 dollar console to have majob problems and not being able to play with friends is kinda lame if you ask me. It would be nice if there's
a permanent fix for it so I don't have to deal with it on a weekly basis.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a) the issue and b) the frustration!!

 

Tell me about it my friends list never works right so glad I spent all this money on a " better upgraded system" thanks Microsoft this is great remind me what I'm paying for again o gea so you guys can be rich and we can have broken stuff that's just wonderful
I have called called called and called some more I get put on hold hung up on and still no resolve thanks again

 

Same with me and my friends, after those hackers took down the servers it hasnt been right.

 

I also can't load gta online

 

They claim there is nothing wrong with their OS. Tbh I had 0 problems out of it for 2-3 weeks straight. Then all of the sudden someone somewhere decided something needed to be fixed... it was working fine. What are you fixing? If it's not broken then don't
fix it. Simple stupid guys. By fixing whatever it is they have once again messed up the friends list, invites and party chat. It's ridiculous. If it's really this broken then why did you release a product that wasn't finished? I get it computers and their
programs are hard. They are always needing updates. But really it's been a year since release and the same issues keep popping up! It obviously wasn't ready...

 

Every day there is something wrong with this useless console. I miss the 360 days where you didn't have to worry about Xbox live being buggy everyday, and you could actually enjoy the console. Worst thing about it is Microsoft seem to have no clue how to
fix these bugs. For example, Friends list and party chat has been buggy everyday since this console came out.

 

The *** Live service goes down multiple times a week lately. I used to praise the 360 for having amazing online services compared to the other consoles, but my opinion has certainly changed with the One. Between shoddy networking and every game being released
having game-breaking bugs, this console generation has been nothing but disappointment.
