    Error code 0x82D40004


    My kids play Madden 20 on Xbox one. The console and game are only a few months old. They are suddenly getting the below error message when they try to play. We do own the game. The disc is not dirty or scratched, and we've tried what was suggested
    by other users to fix the issue. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Microsoft customer service is not available for such an issue. Below is the message we keep getting. Any advice on a solution would be much appreciated!

    Do you own this game or app?
    If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at Microsoft Store.

    The error just means that it can't find the licence for the game. So in this case the disk drive did not read the disc, so couldn't find the licence. Try reinserting the disc, then wait about 30 seconds, and try starting the game again.
