Error code 0x803F8001

Hi there,

I purchase minecraft xbox one edition back in Nov. 20th 2014. So when minecraft better together update came out, I got it for free. I've been playing the minecraft better together for a year without any problems. Till recentally my xbox one gives me the
error code 0x803F8001. I went through all the steps to fix the problem and none has worked for me. I have the game digitally. I have contact xbox support and they dont know why im getting this error code. So wondering if any of you guys have any other ideas
how to fix this problem. My other digital games works fine except for both of the minecrafts.

This doesn't help at all. Look around the net. EVERYONE gets this error and THIS SOLUTION NEVER FIXES IT.

 

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with these problems trying to play Minecraft.

If it only happens with the Minecraft, I would suggest trying the troubleshooting steps here on our "My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during
gameplay" or what we call a soft reset.

A soft reset is a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.
