    Error Code 0x803F8001 when opening MS Mahjong on my PC


    I purchased the premium service for Microsoft Mahjong and shows up in my account as purchased and installed; however, a couple of days ago I started getting an Error Code 0x803F8001 when trying to open the game. The note also said the game wasn't showing
    up in my account. When I open my account the game shows as installed. Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks.

    Thanks. I finally(!) found out HOW to uninstall the app and reinstall it from the Store. That does seem to have worked although not all of my data was saved. Not a problem for me though. The good old days of going to
    a DOS prompt and entering a command are gone forever. I do miss 'em though.

    MS Store says that Mahjong is installed; however, it's missing from the 'Start Menu'.

    It seems it has been a common issue lately, I had the same earlier today with both Mahjong and Sudoku. Finally reinstalling the game made it work for me, so I suggest to give that a try.
