    Error code (0x803f8001) "Do you own this game or app?"


    I recently bought World at War, it's map pack bundle, and Wolfenstein 3d digitally through the Microsoft store with proof of purchase for a combined $50. When the downloads were finished I went to my games and apps to start up one then the other only to be hit with "Getting your game ready" before receiving this error code. This has never happened before and after restarting my xbox or refreshing my games and apps this problem still occurs. Even the service status shows up all green and normal after troubleshooting. I don't want to have to refund these amazing games that I missed out on growing up. Please help.

    The error code 0x803F8001 means :
    "Do you own this game or app? If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at Microsoft Store."
