    Hello, like the title says. I recently downloaded a Xbox One Update, I am on a Xbox One s, and error code: 0x8027025a keeps popping up. I can't launch any games or apps. I tried a number of possible fixes, from the ones on the websites" help page for this
    error code and others methods, Such as factory reset with the keep games and apps function, power cycles, restarting, removing my account from the Xbox, restarting again and re-downloading my account. The last method was a temporary fix and with mixed results.
    I was able to launch a game, but once I close said game to play another game. The error code returns and I can't launch any other games/apps. I can't even re-launch the game that just worked a few minutes ago.

    Yup! No code, at least I don't get any, sometimes the (0x8027025a) appears.

    I forgot add something that might be important. I downloaded the update either two days ago or sometime in the morning yesterday, background updates. Everything launched fine two days ago, however, when I got on the Xbox One yesterday evening. I couldn't
    launched any games/apps and I gave up after 30 minutes of trying the methods in the original post. Last thing I tried was a factory reset with the keep all games function. I'm not a 100% sure that work, the games did work a few hours later, but the error code returned
    this morning. So, I went to support this morning, after a few more minutes of trying the same methods and considering a factory reset with remove all games and apps, I was sent here.

  5. UPDATE: None of the fixes work, but I found out that the problem is time related. The games/apps are playable in a certain time frame with a few exceptions. From 1:00 am to 8:00 am CST, all games and apps launch okay with little problem. Anytime before or
    after said time frame, the games/apps don't launch with a few rare exceptions that one of games do launch, but said game will not be playable online.

  6. That depends, is it one game/app that has the error or multiple games/apps. If it's one then try the steps here: Error 8027025A | Xbox One Sign-in & App Error

    Alternatively, there are YouTube videos that have other methods of fixing this error code because of the many ways this error happens. Simply search: xbox one error code 0x8027025a. Videos with possible fixes to this should pop up.

    If the problem is like what I described in the previous posts, then I have no idea. I gave up entirely after trying the majority of the methods. Now, I just wait until the games are playable.

  7. Update 2: The problem with error code: 0x8027025a has stopped completely. Turns out that I didn't have to do anything, I just waited and everything is launching correctly. However, a new problem as appeared. I can't download games or apps, they always stay
    in queued and I tried using the "install now" option. That didn't work and I tried a few others things, from restarting the xbox, modem, and router.

    I have had the exact same problem with my Xbox One after I updated it. For at least six days I have tried hundreds of times but it doesn't work, I have tried similar things to what you tried but nothing changes. I get the exact same error code saying FOR SOME REASON YOUR GAME HAS TAKEN TOO LONG TO START!!!
    If Microsoft is willing to patch this error then I am willing to continue with Xbox. If not, then they should never have these useless updates in the first place. PLEASE FIX THE UPDATE MICROSOFT!

  9. Update 3: I found out the problem and a fix for it, well sort of fix.
    The problem was that I can't launch games/apps while downloading/installing another game, app, or update. The problem also works both ways, meaning that you can't download/install a game, app, or update while playing a game or using an app.
    Like what I described in my "Update 2" post. The fix, sort of,
    is to pause or finish the download, then try relaunching the game/app you wanted to use. It should launch after the first or second try. This is the only thing I found that showed results. The problem is still there, but at least there's a workaround.
    I hope Microsoft releases a patch to fix this problem, not sure why launching and downloading a game/app at the same time would cause such a problem and vice-versa, but it's been about two weeks.

  10. I found a fix, well, it's more of a workaround then a fix, but I posted in my "Update 3:" post a few minutes ago. If that doesn't help you, then I don't know what well, but it worked for me. The problem is still there though, but I can workaround it.

    Thank you FTG LightShadow. Was becoming rather frustrated with my Xbox one due to the constant recurring error code. Next step would have either been to crush it or sell it, though with how frustrating it was getting the crushing was sounding better each
    time error code came up. But back to gaming now, guess I'll have to do the downloads while I'm sleeping or at least not playing. Sure hope there's a patch soon to address the issue. Thanks again for the info on the work around.
