Error code 0x80248014

I know how frustrating it is when you just want to play on Xbox and keep hitting errors like this. That 0x80248014 error usually points to a Windows Update or Microsoft Store issue, especially after a system reset.

1. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter

> Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

> Run the Windows Update troubleshooter

2. Reset Microsoft Store

> Press Windows + R, type wsreset.exe, and hit Enter

> This clears the Store cache

3. Manually Reinstall Microsoft Store

> Open PowerShell as Admin and run:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

4. Check Windows Updates

> Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all available updates

> That ensures the Store can work correctly

2nd issue kinda solved, but in the negetive way. Now it shows me 0x80248014 error code when installing through microsoft store.

I've deleted Datastore again and now it can't download xbox again

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand having issues installing games. With folder change it could potentially cause more issues than fixing issues. With game pass games these files are locked as the games are not owned. So in changing the
directory to where it goes could cause you to get the error now immediately like you are. We recommend trying to change back to original then we can go from there. In some cases to do this it requires a reinstall of windows.
