Error code 0x80244022 but on Xbox one not pc

I did some searches on the internet but unfortunately I did not find any solution for Xbox, everything that appears is for Windows, in this case we are going to try restoring the console to see if this way the problem is resolved.

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information > Reset console.
3. Select Reset and keep my games and apps. This will reset the operating system and remove all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Note: This process will not delete any data from your console, you just need to remember the credentials to log into your account again.

The Xbox Game Pass for PC installer is not working.

All I get is hanging at 'making things awesome...' for 10 minutes, followed by error 0x80244022

My PC exceeds the requirements and Windows 10 version is higher than the minimum recommended.

I've seen many posts with similar issues, and no definitive fixes appear forthcoming before the threads get locked.

This error may be caused by a Windows update problem, so let's go to the SoftwareDistribution folder where updates are recorded and do the following:

1. Launch File Explorer by pressing Windows+E keys on your keyboard.
2. Press Ctrl+L at the same time to access the address bar and type %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution , then press the Enter key. This will open the SoftwareDistribution folder.
3. Inside it, locate the DataStore and Download folders and delete the contents of both folders.
4. Restart your computer and the updates should work correctly.

If this does not solve the problem, we can try to restart the computer. In some cases, a restart can be the most basic solution to many problems that we have on our PC.
