    I have been having progressive issues with my Xbox one console over the past couple of weeks it all started off with minor lag while playing games but as time went on the lag got more sever until it got the the point my Xbox would freeze and shut down. Shortly after i would get an error code pop up leading to me having to do an offline update with an external device after I done the update my console was running smoothly for about two days until my Xbox would randomly turn off so i searched it up and it said it was overheating and recommended I cleaned my Xbox so i took it apart granted it was quite dusty so i cleaned all the dust off and put the Xbox back together the way it said and now my console is started up very slowly taking about 5-10 minutes to actually completely start up and be on the home screen and when I play games such as Minecraft my data would continuously get corrupted and the lag was even more severe this time so I uninstalled all games reset my Xbox entirely started fresh but the issue has not yet been resolved I've even cleared the cache and local storage but nothing has yet to work even tried hard resets but the issue still gets progressively worse.

    I'm not sure if this is an issue with Xbox coding or whether I need a new Xbox I'm not entirely sure but I have done nothing on the Xbox to cause this no viruses never used Microsoft edge on the console due to having a pc.

    if there is anyone who has had similar issues and know how to resolve this or anyone has any idea on how to help?? any advice would be greatly appreciated

    I've been looking into this one and it is very strange as that code, on a PC, indicates a Store issue but not on the Xbox it seems

    Also interesting that the code isn't even listed on the Xbox codes page...surely they must have come across it before!!

    The upshot of this seems to be a full factory reset may be needed

    Thank you. Please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices then add your console as a device using its serial number or if it's already added simply click "show details", I would appreciate it if you can provide me the warranty status that will be visible from there.

    Was the XBox brand new when you bought it? It's unusual to have a hard drive fail within 3 years, albeit not uncommon. Of course, it may not be the hard drive at all..that was just my initial thoughts but I'm in no means a console expert (my expertise is mainly PCs)

    Could you post the error code here please? I'm sure there are plenty on here that have likely seen every error code that the XBox throws up

    I apologize for the trouble but in this case, the console needs to be repaired since you have already reset the console removing everything. May I ask what Xbox One console do you have? I will help you in checking the warranty period as well as guide you in creating a repair order if possible.
