    error code 0x80073cfe when trying to play new installed games????


    Afternoon all

    I keep getting the above error code when trying to play newly installed games.

    old games already installed on the xbox and hard drive work fine but once anew game is installed I just get this message all the time and game won't play?

    Any help?

    Resetting the system seems to have solved the account problem!

    Help, I can't install the xbox app and I get error code 0x80073cfe every time I try

    Ran the SFC and got no errors, ran the DISM and rebooted. Opened the xbox app and it says I need to install gaming services, when I click the button to do so it just freezes on installing. When I open Microsoft Store and check the updates I see that the gaming services update failed with the 0x80073CFE error code.

    PC Xbox Game Pass Error Code issues

    Thank you for the reply though sadly none of the methods fixed my current issue. I'm still getting both the same error codes as before. Though I get them for different games. One game will give me the
    0x80004005 code while another will give me 0x80073cfe. It's not exactly consistent with what games give which error code.

    Hello friend, I recommend that you update your PC to the latest version with Windows update, and that you verify that the Microsoft Store is updated.
