error code: 0x80073cf3 while attempting to download the outer worlds

That's a very specific code, here is the console error link, i would imagine there may be a partial or current file downloaded to the PC, search your library in the PC store and try uninstalling if you see an instance of it. I've ran through the trouble shooting guide and none of that helped. I also have uninstalled and re-installed the launcher and file created for the outer worlds on both a SSD and HDD but neither of those resolved the issue

I was having this issue and the only thing that fixed it was this:

Error code 0x80073CF3

This issue occurs when you’re trying to update a certain app. Here are the possible causes of this problem:

• The incoming package conflicts with an installed package.
• A specified package dependency can’t be found.
• The package doesn’t support the correct processor architecture.

To resolve this issue, you need to re-register the Windows Store:

1. Go to Search, type powershell, right-click Powershell, open as administrator
2. Enter the following command, and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
3. Restart your computer

You might see some red text due to files being used by other apps, but this did the trick for me.

I'm having the same problem, none of the solutions offered for the same error code elsewhere have done anything, troubleshooting comes back with no issues.

I've reset the store with wsreset, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, every time I try it it errors at 0% with the 0x80073cf3 error message.
