    Error code: 0x80073cf3 trying to download Fallout 76


    After Re-installing Windows, I have been trying to install the Game pass games I was playing before

    I have been able to install Forza Horizon 4, then when installing Fallout 76 the installation failed straight away. The error code given was 0x80073cf3. It said to wait for a while before trying again. I have tried this and it does not sort the issue.

    I have looked this error up and tried the solutions suggested; clear cache, upgrade to latest version, wsreset, etc. These have not helped.

    Is there anything else I could try?

    How odd, even reinstalling the gaming services it didn't work?

    So try to restore your OS Jamiem:

    Step 1: Click Update and Security on the Settings page to continue.

    Step 2: Click Recovery and click Getting Started on the right to continue.

    Step 3: Choose Keep My Files to restart your PC.

    Step 4: Read subsequent messages and click Reset.

    After the computer has successfully restarted, you have updated Windows 10.

    This error just appears when you tried to install Fallout 76?
    I have been able to install Forza Horizon and Football Manager 2021 successfully, but I'm getting that error code when trying to install 'What remains of Edith Finch', and 'A Plague Tale: Innocence' as well as Fallout 76.

    With all 3 its happening at 0% downloaded

    Hi Vinicius

    I have tried those two steps, but unfortunately I'm getting the same error message when I try installing Fallout 76.

    Is there anything else you could suggest?
