Error code 0x80070570

Hello,

I've tried to install three pre-owned games (physical disc) on my Xbox One but every single one, after installing and attempting to launch, comes up with the error message 'Sorry we cannot launch this. The item you are trying to use appears to be corrupt.
Try uninstalling it then reinstalling (0x80070570)'.

I've looked on here and on the internet, and the general wisdom is to perform a hard reset, leave the console off for five minutes, and turn it back on. This hasn't worked - I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and installing offline then reconnecting
to the internet, but I'm struggling to find any other solutions.

Already installed games still work, one of which was pre-owned, and from what I can gather the above error message is to do with the hard drive.

If anyone has any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it, you would have my eternal gratitude...thanks in advance.

Did they install offline but then fail during update? If it keeps failing when you're online it could be something with your network. Perhaps uninstall the games, go offline install, then try rebooting your router, and/or using network rather than wireless
for the updates.

It didn't, but I ended up doing a full console reset which seems to have sorted it. Although it now means that I've got to start Alien Isolation from the beginning vagain :-/

 

Your saves should be backed up to the cloud provided you keep your console online. You shouldn't need to redo your progress. If that happened then something corrupted your save.

You can try resetting your console to its factory settings to make sure every corrupted files will be deleted. You just need to install them again.
