    Error Code 0x800704cf with Microsoft store


    Got the error listed above after attempting to download the Xbox and other apps from the store. Did all the initial fixes the forum suggested on a prior post, including deleting some of my drivers. Double checked I had admin privileges and was able to download without any issues from the other Microsoft account profile on the pc, but not mine. What I ended up needing to do was to verify the account, which the setting section for it was unable to do due to "servers being down", I went into email and other accounts and re-added my Microsoft accounts with out removing them from the list and it finally verified me.

    So in short

    -check for updates

    -check in accounts if you're verified

    -if not then

    -go to email & accounts

    - under accounts used by other apps add a Microsoft account

    -log into your Microsoft account(s)

    -go back to your info and check if the verify link is gone or go to sync your settings and under individual sync settings passwords should now be on

    -restart pc and log back in as normal then you should be good to go
