Error code 0x80070490 after game update

Today i had planned on playing the new overwatch update as it came out at 2 PM. I had been on it earlier today and had no problems at all. As soon as the update happened i updated it and it finished around 20 min later. I procceded to get on and saw that
it said i needed to uninstall the game. I procceded to unplug my xbox hoping that would fix it. It did not and i was forced to uninstall and reinstall. An hour later after reinstalation i got on and it gave me a error code 0x80070490. I have scoured through
many forums and twitter and have had no solution. I really dont want anything but just to be able to play the game i payed for

If anybody sees this please help

The error code I'm receiving is 0x80070490. I did the power cycles/power disconnects after researching the error code. The game is a digital purchase/download. I do not have the disc.

Try to restart your console.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If i do a hard reset will i lose my progress on any of the games i play
