Error code: (0x8007042b) when starting omori on xbox gamepass

Thanks for trying it. If the issue persists, I would suggest you to try to use the System File Checker and DISM to repair broken, corrupted or missing system files:

Go to Start > Search for Command Prompt > Right Click > Run as Administrator. Run one command at a time:

sfc /scannow

chkdsk /r

chkdsk /f

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Chkdsk may ask you to restart your computer in order to be able to run. If that's the case, please restart your computer when you can and it will run before Windows starts.

Then, please try to reset your network settings:

- Click on Start > Search for command prompt > Right click on it and select "Run as administrator";

- Run the commands below and press Enter after each one:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /renew

netsh winsock reset all

netsh winhttp reset proxy

netsh int 6to4 reset all

netsh int ip reset all

netsh int ipv4 reset all

netsh int ipv6 reset all

Restart your computer. Go to Start > Search for Omori > Run the game by clicking on it instead of running in inside the Xbox app. Also, disconnect your controller before starting the game.

Is this issue happening only with Omori? Other games start up just fine?

Before we start troubleshooting, would you please try to run the Xbox app in administrator mode?

Go to Start > Search for Xbox > Right click on the Xbox app > Click on "Pin to taskbar". Open the Xbox app by holding Ctrl + Shift and clicking on the Xbox app taskbar icon. It will open in administrator mode. Disconnect your controller from the computer and try to run Omori again.

Thanks for trying this. Since the issue persists, please try the following steps:

- Click on Start > Search for Credential manager > Windows credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove. Also, remove all the XblGrts and XboxLive credentials.

- Delete Accounts and Cache folders at:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Press Windows + R. Type TEMP and press enter. Delete all the files inside this folder. Repeat this step by typing %TEMP% and Prefetch. Delete everything on both folders too.

- Restart your computer. See if you are signed in on the Microsoft store with the account you want to play the game. Then, please open the Xbox App in admin mode and sign in with the same account as the Microsoft store.

- Check your computer region/country and language and please make sure it is the same as your Microsoft account (https://account.microsoft.com/profile). Also check your time zone and date/time is correct.
