Error code: (0x8007042b) on game launch

Hi there, I'm having issues launching Forza Horizon 5, which I have with Gamepass ultimate. On launching the game through the xbox app, Microsoft store, desktop shortcut as administrator and even just running the games executable file, I get the same error code, 0x8007042b. I have tried all the fixes on the Forza website, I have rebooted my PC on many occasions, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified all the game files through settings and xbox app, I have reset the store, signed out and signed in again. I have the latest Nvidia Game ready drivers installed, and I am on Windows 11 version 10.0.22000 build 22000, and have a 10th gen I5-10600 and a Nvidia RTX 2060 super and 16GB of ram.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Leo

I tried it with Limbo and with other small games like vampire survivor... If I install it and launch it, nothing happens and I get an Entry in the event log. But when I Move the game to another partition the game opens and then I get The Error:

Error code: (0x8007042b)

And that error code to my unrstanding is so generic that it has nothing to to with the problem.

Thanks for all the help you have given me. Unfortunatly, after a fresh windows install, the error persists.

Sorry it also did not work. I think the other available steps would be reinstalling Forza Horizon and if the issue persists, reset Windows. Rest assured that resetting Windows can keep your games, apps and personal files. Only the system files would be removed.

If reinstalling the game does not work, please go to Start > Settings (the gear icon) > Update & security > Recovery > Reset this PC. Choose Get started > Keep your files > Download from cloud > Follow the instructions.

Hi Lucas,

Thanks a lot for your sugestions. I have completed all the steps sugested and unfortunatly, the problem persists and I recive the sme error code on launching the game. Is there anything else to try or should I wait for a bug fix?
