    Error code 0x8007023e


    I'm getting this error code for any and all games that I'm not playing off the disc. i.e. that I'm playing off game pass in one form or another.

    I try to launch a game, the screen goes black briefly, and then I'm returned to the home screen with this error code overlayed on top.

    I found a similar error code in the forum, but it was for a single game only. Where as mine is for all games.

    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and also hard resetting the xbox (several times).

    The games I've tried to launch include:

    Ark: Survival Evolved

    Back 4 blood

    Dead by Daylight

    Destroy all Humans!

    Dragon Ball Fighterz (I bought this one)

    Gang Beasts

    Hades

    Jurassic World Evolution

    Just Cause 4

    The list goes on.

    The only game I've been able to play is skylanders imaginators of the disc.

    This is on xbox series x. And I have the game pass that comes when buying the console through telstra.

    Same issue here. Error Code 0x8007023e on all donwloaded games. Games with CDs working fine.

    New Zealand here too and I am getting this issue with all my owned games and game pass games. All my games are digital so can't shove a disc in there to see if that works.
