    I am not the only one thats ends up with an error (0x80070102) on a paid for game from microsoft.

    this is a copyright protection scheme that MS will not improve. If they dont like any of your hardware then your out or so it seems for me and others.

    this means I will not only be able to play a game I bought but never get any addons

    Actually there is an issue with some games on PC game pass. I can't confirm right now if your issue is also related to the problem

    But would be great if you try waiting until Microsoft reply or make an announcement in this other thread:
